Continuation of Funding
The Office of Victim Services (OVS) awarded grant contracts to victim assistance programs (VAPs) for the period October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2012. Included in the grant contracts is an option for up to two one-year renewals.

A Survivor’s Story
In the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, OVS provided thousands of men, women and children with compensation and assistance that allowed them to begin to rebuild their lives. Jan O’Dell is one of those survivors; she graciously agreed to share her story.
